Beaver Building's founder, Alex Beaver, finished school with outstanding marks in carpentry. After working for a few companies doing various jobs in the fields of construction and landscaping, Alex decided to put his efforts into building a business for himself.

He began his venture in 2005 with a 1993 Pontiac Bonneville (complete with trailer hitch), a 5x8 trailer, tool belt, hammer, and a saw. Word about his business spread quickly once his customers saw the quality of work and professionalism Alex had to offer.

Four years later, after investing much of what he made back into the business, Alex had acquired over $100,000 worth of equipment and tools, as well as a large customer base. Alex found himself with more work than he could handle alone... so he started asking some people for direction and advice.

In early 2009, Alex and his brother Paul, incorporated Beaver Building & Backyard Improvements and began hiring qualified help, providing much-needed jobs in an unstable economy.

In August of 2009, Beaver Building acquired an existing landscaping company - Greencare Landscape Management - as its property maintenance and landscape installation division. The two companies now work hand-in-hand to provide a wide variety of services to property owners.
